Epsom salt is different from normal salt in that it’s actually a mineral compound of magnesium and sulphate. It is technically known as magnesium sulphate. Because of a combination of different types of issues, our body misses out on magnesium which is one of the reasons epsom salt can be an important part of improving one’s health. It is believed that can be used for treating muscle aches and dry skin. This wonder salt can be used in your garden as well, to provide a boost of magnesium to the plants. Use for: bath and spa | foot soak | shower | - soothe aches and pains, cleanse pores, detoxify and soften skin bath and spa: add two cups of epsom salt to warm, running bath water. Settle in and soak for 20 minutes to help relieve stress and stiffness. Foot soak: mix one cup of epsom salt with warm water in a foot bath and soak feet for 10 minutes to help soothe aches and soften rough skin. Shower: exfoliate and soften skin in the shower by mixing a handful of epsom salt with a tablespoon of shower gel or olive oil and massage onto wet skin. Rinse thoroughly.
